The original OEM coolant hose will fail and leak coolant. Skip the costly $2000 independent mechanic fix or the $4000 dealership fix. Use our kit and save thousands.
Issue: The OEM hose is made of plastic (Y-pipe) and located under the intake manifold sandwiched in constant heat making the hose brittle and crack overtime. Coolant leaks from those cracks at around 70,000 miles.
Answer: Our Coolant Hose Vent Line Reroute (bypass) Kit does not go through the extremely hot intake manifold. It is rerouted left and away from the direct heat of the engine. Also, the hose is made of durable flexible PVC (not plastic).
Install: Simple and takes 1 hour. Half the time is removing the side and front engine covers. No need to remove the intake manifold and all the various parts to get to the original OEM hose. That is a ton of labor which is why it cost so much at the mechanic/dealership.
