DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE OEM COOLANT HOSE FAILS AND LEAVES YOU STRANDED WITH AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR.
Coolant leaking from your engine is a major known issue on the V6 with turbo(s) Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera; the factory coolant vent line is a plastic Y-pipe buried under the intake manifold. Years of engine heat make it brittle, and it typically cracks around 60,000 miles. A shop replaces it by removing the intake manifold: roughly $3,000, mostly labor.
Our reroute kit takes a different path. It moves the vent line out from under the intake and away from direct engine heat, so the manifold stays on and the new line lasts.
Why this kit
- Save thousands: $190 versus a $3,000 shop repair. No future repeat repairs.
- Built to last: high-temperature EPDM coolant hose with CNC-machined aluminum fittings, replacing the factory plastic.
- Away from the heat: routed clear of the intake manifold instead of sitting under it.
- No intake removal: about 1 hour for a confident DIYer; half of that is taking off the engine covers.
- Designed by owners: developed and tested on our in-house Cayenne S in California.
